DO GOOD

We believe that everyone should leave the world a little better than how they found it. Community service not only unifies us as friends and co-workers, it keeps us aware that there is a greater need – the need of the local community. As we lend a helping hand and open our hearts, it is these actions and activities that are truly our greatest accomplishment - not only as individual agents, but as a family.

Family Violence Prevention Services

Since Christmas of 2022, our Do Good Committee has had the pleasure of working with The Family Violence Prevention Services/Battered Women and Children's Shelter on multiple occasions, donating our time and resources to make life a little bit easier for their residents. Through the years we have held a diaper and backpack drive for the organization and volunteered at their donation center many times to help with their current needs.

In January 2024, we presented FVPS  with a check that our team raised funds for throughout 2023. These funds were a combination of realtor commissions, sponsor donations, and company matches

Pet Supply Drive for the Animal Defense League

We started our relationship with the Animal Defense League of Texas in the summer of 2022. We couldn't help but fall in love with all the fur babies there.  We have held a Pet Supply Drive with an overwhelming community response as well as volunteering on multiple occasions cleaning and updating the ADL facilities.

Junior Achievement

On March 23, 2023, our Do Good Committee volunteered with Junior Achievement of South Texas at JA Finance Park as we hosted 8th graders from Rawlinson Middle School. Junior Achievement teaches students the important principles of financial literacy that include saving, investing, and budgeting. The program is a reality-based, hands-on simulation for students that enables them to build foundations for making intelligent lifelong personal finance decisions. Sharing our life experiences with the students helped to give them perspective on what real life as an adult with finances will be like.

100 Club of San Antonio

Each year since 2021, our Do Good Committee participates in the 100 Club of San Antonio’s Spaghetti Dinner Meatball Roll & Plate Sale. All proceeds for the plates sold benefit families of local fallen 1st responders. Additionally, we purchase enough plates to feed the residents at the Strong Foundation of San Antonio who provides housing for displaced families.

"Thank you for your heart to serve and give to the homeless families at Strong Foundation who are working hard to become self-sufficient. We so appreciate the yummy spaghetti meals you have provided over the last several years. The meatball are especially yummy. We appreciate all you do for the families at Strong Foundation!"
